How it works
How a campaign is reviewed and funded.
Writing the page, publishing it, and releasing money are three steps. Supporters see the first two. Only a verified fundraiser can take the third.
- 01
Write the campaign
Name the beneficiary, the place, and the cost. The goal is at least ₹10,000 and should match an estimate, a fee notice, or a quote. The opening paragraph should say what happened and what the money pays for.
- 02
We review it
Identity, address, and the bank account are matched to the uploaded documents first. A complete submission is verified within 24 hours, and a campaign cannot be written before that. The story is then read against the bill. A vague appeal is sent back.
- 03
People donate
A supporter can give without an account. The minimum is ₹100. The same attempt is recorded once, even if it is sent again. On this local build the payment is simulated.
- 04
Withdraw after verification
Only the fundraiser can request a withdrawal, only against a live campaign, and only up to what is still unreserved. Identity, address, and a bank account in that name have to pass first. The minimum request is ₹1,000.
Have this before you submit
The beneficiary and the place
A person, a school, a clinic, or a neighbourhood, and a city or village that can be found.
The document
A hospital estimate, a fee notice, or a quote. The goal should match the amount still uncovered, and it has to be at least ₹10,000.
A clear opening
What happened, what the money pays for, and how unused funds will be reported. Say that in an update, not as a promise with no record.
Verification, before a campaign
A photo ID, an address, and a bank account in the fundraiser’s name. The team matches these within 24 hours. The campaign form stays closed until they do.
What a supporter sees
The running total
Raised amount, goal, and supporter count. The bar is that fraction, not a separate estimate.
The open checks
Identity, bank account, and review, each marked done or still open.
Updates
Short notes after the page is live: the deposit was paid, the books arrived, the roofs went on.
After someone gives
The campaign total and the supporter count update when the donation is recorded. Submitting the same donation again does not add it twice. The success page is the record. Nothing is emailed.
The fundraiser writes an update when something changes: the deposit was accepted, the books arrived, a roof went on. Later supporters should be able to tell a finished bill from an open one.
A withdrawal is a separate request. It can be paid only up to the amount still available, only to the verified account, and only for at least ₹1,000. Marking it paid updates the record. It does not send money from a bank.
